2025-10-30: Duplicate Guard – Next-Generation Continuous Duplicate Monitoring

We’re introducing a major evolution of our Duplicate Guard — now supporting continuous duplicate detection, monitoring, and alerting. This is not a brand-new product, but a completely new version of the existing Duplicate Guard, designed to deliver real-time duplicate intelligence at scale.

The new Duplicate Guard provides:

  • Continuous monitoring of your data mirror for duplicates
  • Configurable cleaning and comparison logic
  • Real-time processing for up to 5 million business partner records
  • On-demand reporting
  • Extended API endpoints to browse and assess linked records

This new engine gives you an always-current view of identified duplicates and the ability to actively manage exception cases. Important: The existing Duplicate Guard version remains available until all functionality — including specialized consolidation rules — is fully supported in the new release. No changes are required from current users.

Together with the new product we also provide:

2025-10-29: New data source integration: Mexican Taxpayer Registry

We are pleased to announce the integration of the Mexican Taxpayer Registry (MX.TR (data source)) into the Business Partner Lookup service.

MX.TR data is provided by Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT), the official tax authority in Mexico. The source is openly available and supports verification of legal and compliance status of business partners registered in Mexico.

The MX.TR integration enhances data enrichment with:

  • Registered business names
  • RFC identifiers (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes – tax ID)
  • Current business status
  • Legal form

Currently, the dataset contains more than 600,000 records.

To start using MX.TR, customers need to activate the data source in Global Settings → Reference Data Source Management

2025-10-15: Refresh Dashboards on demand

You no longer need to wait until the next day to see updated dashboard results! Dashboards can now be refreshed on demand using the refresh icon in the top-right corner of the page.

After your monitors complete their work, open the dashboard and click the refresh icon. While the refresh is in progress, a loader icon appears on the left side. Once the refresh job finishes, the page will automatically reload with the latest data for all dashboards.

Next to the refresh button, you’ll also find an information icon displaying helpful details:

  • Date and time of the last refresh
  • Current status
  • Job ID
  • Number of refreshes performed today

This update gives you faster insights and better visibility into dashboard activity.

2025-10-14: Improved Visibility for Report Generation Issues

We’ve enhanced how report status information is displayed to make issue diagnosis faster and clearer.

Previously, when a report failed to generate due to missing data, it showed only a generic “failed” status. Users had to click the information icon to understand the root cause. Now, when data is missing, the system displays a clearly differentiated status with a distinct color, so the issue is immediately visible—no extra clicks needed.

Missing data may occur in cases such as:

  • No data available in the data mirror
  • No monitor has been created
  • Configuration issues (e.g., missing curation features or inactive data sources)

This improvement helps users quickly identify why a report didn’t run and take action without digging through details.

2025-10-02: Custom Matching Classifications in Lookup Configuration

We have extended the lookup configuration with the ability to define custom thresholds for business partner and address matching classifications (MAYBE_MATCH, FULL_MATCH).

Until now, match classifications were based on hardcoded thresholds applied globally (with the exception of several countries like Brazil or Germany). With this update, you can now configure thresholds per country.
If no configuration is provided for a given country, the system will automatically fall back to default thresholds.

This enhancement gives you more control over the lookup process, helping you align match results with your specific business needs.

For detailed instructions on how and where to use this functionality, please check our tutorial: How to search for business partners – Matching Classifications per country

2025-09-29: AML Guard – Improved Business Partner Name Search, Relationship Guard – Simplified D&B Integration

Management Summary

CDQ is happy to announce another improvement in the usability of the AML Guard. Searching for Business Partners in Case Management has become easier and more intuitive. Users are no longer required to enter the full and exact name string to locate a Business Partner. Instead, the enhanced search now accepts case-insensitive and partial matches, making daily work faster and less error-prone.

What Changed

Previously, the search required the complete and exact spelling of a Business Partner name. Even small variations (e.g., typing Ag instead of AG) would result in no matches.

For example:

  • ABC International AG would only be found if entered exactly as in the database.
  • If a user searched for Abc International Ag or made a typo, the result would not appear.

With this improvement, users can now:

  • Find Business Partners using case-insensitive search terms (e.g., abc, aBC, ABC).
  • Avoid missed results caused by capitalization or minor typing differences.

Limitation

The search term must still be entered as a full word. For example, entering Maschinen will not return a company called Maschinenbau GmbH.

Business Benefits

  • Improved usability: less dependency on exact spelling.
  • Faster search: find the right Business Partner with fewer clicks and less copying.
  • Reduced errors: avoids missed matches due to small inconsistencies.
    , Management Summary

CDQ is happy to announce another improvement in the usability of the Relationship Guard. Integrating D&B data into the CDQ Cloud environment is now easier and less complex. Instead of configuring separate data sources for search and enrichment, customers can now manage both services through a single D&B data source. This reduces setup effort, provides more flexibility in how credentials are used, and enables advanced options like load balancing across D&B products.

What Changed

Previously, two separate data sources had to be configured in CDQ to access D&B services:

  • One for the search function (candidate list of potential matches based on address).
  • One for the enrichment function (detailed company data based on DUNS number).

With this release, both services are unified under one single data source:

  • Set the D&B credentials in the desired data source (see tutorial: How to connect to D&B).

Compatibility Note

The old functionality of configuring separate D&B data sources will remain available until further notice. However, we strongly recommend adapting your configurations to the new version, as the old setup will be deprecated in the future.

Feature Toggles Required
For the new lookup requests, one of the following feature toggles must be activated:

  • ACTIVATE_DATASOURCE_DNB_MASTER_DATA_BASIC
  • ACTIVATE_DATASOURCE_DNB_MASTER_DATA_LNKG
  • ACTIVATE_DATASOURCE_DNB_MASTER_DATA_MGMT
  • ACTIVATE_DATASOURCE_DNB_MASTER_DATA_EXTENDED

Business Benefits

  • Simplified setup: only one data source instead of two.
  • Increased flexibility: credentials can be reused across services.
  • Advanced options: support for load balancing across D&B products.
  • Future-ready: early migration avoids disruption when the old style is phased out.

2025-09-29: Bank Account Data Mirror Imports Now Available in Cloud Apps

Bank Account Data Mirror import feature enables seamless, automated synchronization of bank data into Cloud Apps. This ensures that financial information is always up-to-date, accurate, and readily available for business processes — improving compliance, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.

Purpose & Value

This feature allows you to securely upload either an unconsolidated payment extract (e.g., SAP REGUH file) or a consolidated payment summary into your private Bank Account Storage within CDQ Cloud Apps.

The primary purpose of this upload is to help your organization protect itself against payment fraud. By storing, structuring, and analyzing your outgoing payment transactions, CDQ’s Fraud Prevention Services — including the Trust Score — help you evaluate the bank accounts you're paying to and avoid sending money to fraudulent accounts.

Your uploaded payment data — whether unconsolidated or consolidated — becomes the basis for:

  • Identifying previously used and trusted beneficiary bank accounts
  • Recognizing suspicious or unverified accounts
  • Enhancing CDQ's Trust Score and alert mechanisms
  • Strengthening your internal controls before each payment run

In addition, your anonymized data contributes to the broader CDQ Data Sharing Community, improving fraud prevention insights across participating organizations — including yours.

Why This Process Matters

This process plays a critical role in protecting your organization from payment fraud. By uploading your payment data, you gain the ability to:

  • Assess the trustworthiness of payee accounts
  • Prevent payments to high-risk or unfamiliar accounts
  • Detect accounts lacking a positive payment history
  • Leverage CDQ’s Trust Score and fraud prevention tools in real time

Securely uploading your transaction history not only enhances transparency into your payment behavior but also activates intelligent services designed to help you avoid financial losses.

While your anonymized data contributes to the broader CDQ Data Sharing Community, the primary benefit is yours: reducing fraud exposure, proactively securing your payment operations, and building greater trust in your financial processes.

Getting Started

To get started with Bank Account Data Mirror Imports, follow these steps:

  • Sign in to Cloud Apps
  • Ensure you have access to Data Mirror Management (either the Data Mirror App User or Data Mirror App Manager role must be assigned to your account)
  • Select your mappings between Transactions or Consolidated Accounts, and initiate the import into your Bank Account Storage

More detailed Step-by-step Process Instructions will be provided shortly.

2025-09-26: Integration of CRIBIS – Commercial Data Source for Italian Business Partners

We are pleased to announce the integration of CRIBIS (data source), a commercial data source providing high-quality information about Italian business partners.

To access this source in CDQ services, an active contract with the provider (CRIBIS) is required.

The data includes:

Business partners can be searched using all these attributes – either by identifiers (Fiscal Code, VAT), or by names and addresses.

2025-09-04: Small update on Data Quality Rules

In our recent data quality rules update we have slightly improved regular expressions for checking identifier-related rules and introduced new ones for Identifier qualification purposes. The list of the updated rules is the following:

The list of newly introduced rules is the following (rules are in the HYPERCARE status):

All changes are already available.

2025-09-02: Cloud Apps Release Highlights

We’re excited to introduce the latest improvements to Cloud Apps, focusing on configuration, data management, and usability enhancements:

Features list displayed for Curation Profiles:

  • When selecting a Curation Profile in the Augmentation Configuration, the corresponding list of features is now automatically displayed in the featuresOn section.
  • To disable a specific feature, it’s no longer enough to remove it from the featuresOn list — it must also be explicitly added to the featuresOff list. This ensures clear and precise feature control.

Data Mirror Management App – Mappings:

  • Mappings assigned to data sources are now linked, making navigation easier.
  • Users can open mapping details directly with a single click, without browsing through the full mapping list.
  • Once opened, mappings can be quickly updated if needed.

Style & Usability Improvements:

  • Date format update: all tables now use the format DD.MM.YYYY HH:mm (e.g., 02.09.2025 12:07).
  • Column names unified: several column headers have been standardized for better clarity and consistency.
  • Tooltips redesigned:
    • Click on a tooltip to display its details.
    • Click again to hide it.
    • This change improves readability and makes copying tooltip content much easier.
  • Notifications repositioned & improved: now displayed in the bottom-right corner instead of the top, ensuring smoother workflow and less distraction.

2025-09-01: New data source: FR.SIRENE (France)

We are introducing a new data source for France: FR.SIRENE (data source), which provides company information directly from the official Insee SIRENE API. The content available through FR.SIRENE is identical to the data already offered via FR.RC (data source), but instead of relying on monthly file imports, it leverages a real-time API connection.

In contrast to FR.RC, which can be used in update monitoring and for generating augmented records, FR.SIRENE is limited to single lookup requests (e.g., in the First Time Right application).
Moreover, FR.SIRENE supports searches only by SIRET identifier.

To use FR.SIRENE, customers need to provide their own API Key in the Reference Data Source Management. The API Key can be generated on the Insee website.

This integration gives customers the flexibility to choose between file-based imports (FR.RC) and real-time lookups (FR.SIRENE), depending on their use case.

2025-08-25: Decommissioning of Whitelist Upload App

As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline data import processes and improve system efficiency, the Whitelist Upload App has been officially decommissioned. This follows the successful implementation and adoption of the Data Bank Account Data Mirror Import, which now fully replaces the functionality previously provided by the Whitelist Upload App.

Reason for Decommissioning:

The Whitelist Upload App has been replaced by the Data Bank Account Data Mirror Import, which offers enhanced capabilities, improved performance, and better integration with our current data infrastructure.

Effective Date:

8/25/2025

Impact:

All operations previously handled via the Whitelist Upload App should now be conducted through the Data Bank Account Data Mirror Import.

2025-08-14: Cloud App Improvements

We are pleased to announce a set of improvements to the Cloud App that enhance navigation and data management. These updates aim to streamline user workflows and provide clearer information display. Below is an overview of the key enhancements:

  • Favorite Apps in User Menu: The top-right user menu (accessed by clicking your name) now displays your favorite apps instead of a list of rarely used applications. This allows you to quickly jump to important apps with just two clicks, without needing to return to the main dashboard.
  • Search in Augmentation Configuration: We have added a text-search feature in the Augmentation Configuration for Update Assessment settings. This makes it much easier and faster to find relevant rules and adjust classification settings, improving efficiency when fine-tuning data augmentation rules.
  • Direct Links for Data Monitor Configurations: On the Data Clinic configuration page, the list of data monitors now includes each monitor’s configuration ID as a direct link. You no longer need to click “Edit” to view the configuration ID and then manually find that configuration. This improvement streamlines access, allowing you to read and adjust monitor configuration settings in a more convenient way.
  • Business Partner Data Display Improvements: Several enhancements have been made to how Business Partner information is displayed in the Augmented Business Partner page and the Business Partner Update Browser app, improving clarity and consistency:
    • Sorted Names & Addresses: Business Partner names and addresses are now sorted by type in a logical order: Local, Legal, VAT-Registered, International, and then other types.
    • Clear Identifier Labels: Identifiers (such as registration numbers or tax IDs) are now presented along with their issuing body or authority. This clearer labeling ensures everyone understands which organization or jurisdiction each identifier belongs to.
    • Update Assessment Tooltips: The tooltip for update assessments now includes the reason behind a classification – specifically, it shows which rule was applied to classify a given change. This provides additional insight into why a change was categorized in a certain way.
  • Business Partner Mirror Update History: It is now possible to review how Business Partners in the "Mirror" have been updated. Using the Business Partner Update Browser app, you can filter by provenance “ORGANIZATION” This will display historical values, allowing you to trace and verify the changes that were applied to Business Partner up to 3 months.

These improvements are designed to provide a more user-friendly and transparent experience. We hope they help you navigate the Cloud App more efficiently and manage your data with greater ease.

2025-08-13: Introducing the CDQ Email Domain Guard App along with CDQ Email Domain Guard Configuration App in Cloud Apps

We are happy to announce that the Email Domain Guard App and CDQ Email Domain Guard Configuration App are available on Cloud Apps, a comprehensive suite of email verification and domain analysis services

Why We Launched Email Domain Guard

The need for secure and reliable email communication has never been more critical. Businesses are facing escalating threats from:

  • Sophisticated phishing attacks

These issues undermine trust and expose organizations to significant financial and legal risks.

The growing shift towards remote work has further exacerbated these vulnerabilities, with decentralized operations increasing the likelihood of security breaches. Additionally, stringent data protection regulations, such as GDPR, place immense pressure on companies to secure their communications and ensure compliance.

Recognizing these challenges, we developed Email Domain Guard to provide businesses with a comprehensive, cutting-edge solution to safeguard their email communications.

What is the CDQ Email Domain Guard?

The CDQ Email Domain Guard is an advanced email verification and domain analysis solution designed to enhance the security, accuracy, and reliability of your business communications.

By leveraging multi-factor analysis, Email Domain Guard evaluates the risk associated with email addresses and domains. It delivers clear, actionable insights that empower businesses to make informed decisions and proactively manage communication risks.

This enhancement makes it easier to trace the origin and scope of each report, ensuring clarity and better decision-making.

2025-07-29: UK.VAT data source is available again

We are pleased to inform you that the integration with the UK.VAT (data source) data source ("HM Revenue and Customs VAT Check") has been successfully restored.
After a temporary suspension due to changes in HMRC’s data access policy, we have now completed the required registration process and implemented the necessary adjustments to support the new version of the API.

This means that UK VAT registration numbers can once again be validated and enriched through CDQ’s services. The data source status has been changed back to LIVE, and both updates to existing records and access to new business partner data are now available.

2025-07-25: Sanction & Watchlist Tools Now Integrated into AML Guard

To streamline workflows and improve usability, CDQ has moved the "Single Sanction & Watchlist" and "Sanction & Watchlist Configurator" functionalities into the AML Guard App.

What Changed

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving user experience and app consistency across CDQ Cloud Apps, we have consolidated the formerly standalone tools "Single Sanction & Watchlist" and "Sanction & Watchlist Configurator" directly into the AML Guard app.

This change allows compliance users to access all relevant screening and configuration features within a single, unified workspace.

The Solution

Both functionalities are now accessible as dedicated tabs inside the AML Guard:

New Navigation Inside AML Guard:

Single Screening – Use this tab to perform ad-hoc screenings of individual business partners

Configurator – Manage screening configurations and list selections used by AML Guard

All previous functionality remains unchanged. The only difference is the new, integrated entry point.

Why It Matters

By merging these tools into the AML Guard, we:

Reduce navigation effort by centralizing all compliance functionality in one place

Offer a clearer and more intuitive workflow for compliance users

Lay the foundation for upcoming enhancements to the AML Guard interface

This change is entirely UI-focused and does not affect the functionality or behavior of the tools.

What You Need to Do

Please:

Familiarize yourself with the new tabs inside AML Guard: "Single Screening" and "Configurator"

Update internal user guides or bookmarks if they point to the old entry points

Inform your team that the standalone tiles for these functions will be removed as of July 25th, 2025

No reconfiguration or technical adjustments are required on your side.

If you need assistance navigating the new interface, please reach out to your CDQ contact.

2025-07-24: Improved Login Flow & Enhanced SSO Support for CDQ Cloud APPs

We’re updating the way users log in to CDQ Cloud APPs to enhance security, clarity, and the overall user experience. Changes will be introduced in the coming weeks.

What’s changing?

  • New Two-Step Login Process - Instead of entering both login and password on a single screen, users will now follow a two-step process:
    1. Enter your email address.
    2. Proceed to the password step (unless redirected via SSO).

This change allows our services to analyze the login input and determine the correct authentication flow (standard or SSO).

  • Improved SSO Access - Customers using Single Sign-On (SSO) can now log in directly from the standard CDQ login page. After entering your email, you’ll be redirected to your organization’s SSO page — no need for a special login link.
    • The current special login link will still work for now, but will be deprecated in the future. We recommend switching to the new method.

2025-07-21: New data source: General Commercial Register of Greece

Summary

We are excited to announce the integration of a new official data source – GR.GEMI (data source) (General Commercial Register of Greece) – into CDQ’s Business Partner Lookup and Curation services.

About the source:

The GEMI project unifies Greece’s previously fragmented business registers into a centralized and automated environment, significantly improving the quality and accessibility of official business data across all legal forms.

What kind of data is provided?

GR.GEMI offers authoritative and up-to-date information about Greek business partners, including:

  • Local and international company names
  • Registered address
  • Current status (e.g. active, dissolved)
  • Business partner type (e.g. legal entity or organizational unit)
  • Key identifiers:

How to use it:

The GR.GEMI data source is available to all CDQ customers. To activate it, go to Global Settings → Reference Data Source Management and enable GR.GEMI.

2025-07-16: Role-Based Access Control Introduced in CDQ AML Guard

CDQ AML Guard now supports dedicated user roles to ensure secure and compliant access to sensitive compliance-related data and functionality.

What Changed

To better protect sensitive information and align with compliance best practices, we have introduced role-based access control in the CDQ AML Guard. This update is designed to ensure that users can only access the functions and data they are authorized to see or act upon.

With this release, access to the AML Guard inside CDQ Cloud Apps is now limited to users who have been explicitly assigned one of three new AML roles.

The Solution

Three roles are now available to support different responsibilities within the AML process:

New Roles in AML Guard:

   AML Guard Viewer
   – View-only access to all AML Guard information
   – Cannot make decisions or modify configurations
   AML Guard User
   – Can view data and take decisions (e.g., classify hits, close cases)
   – Cannot create or modify configurations
   AML Guard Manager
   – Full access: view data, take decisions, and manage all configurations

These roles allow customers to align access levels with internal responsibilities, ensuring only those with a legitimate need can access sensitive screening results and case data.

Why It Matters

Compliance processes frequently involve the handling of sensitive, business-critical information. With this change:

We enforce the need-to-know-principle: only authorized users access sensitive compliance data
You can control who can view, decide, or administer AML Guard configurations
Organizations gain greater security, transparency, and control over their compliance operations
This supports internal segregation of duties and meets audit and regulatory expectations

What You Need to Do

To ensure continued access to the AML Guard module, please:

Review your user list in CDQ Cloud Apps
Assign the appropriate role(s) to each user
Ensure that users handling compliance cases or administering screening logic have the correct level of access

Users without one of the new AML roles will no longer be able to view or access the AML Guard features.

For assistance or guidance on role assignment, please contact your CDQ representative.

2025-07-08: Simplified Data Transformation After Mapping Changes

You no longer need to use the API to transform data when there's a change in assigned mapping. Now, you can perform data transformation directly in the APPs interface.

To apply transformations:

  1. Navigate to Data Mirror Management.
  2. Select your data source.
  3. Click on Start Transformation.
  4. Choose the country scope (optional).
    • If no country is selected, the system will transform data for all BPs in the mirror where the mapping change is relevant.

This update streamlines your workflow and reduces dependency on API calls.

2025-06-27: Monitor Status for Business Partners

We’re excited to introduce a new Status feature in the Monitors module of the Data Clinic app. This enhancement provides visibility into the current state of Business Partners (BPs) within Augmentation and Data Quality Profiling monitors, helping users make informed decisions when downloading or reviewing BP data.

Key Benefits:

  • Avoid consuming incomplete data by easily identifying BPs that are mid-reprocessing.
  • Monitor BP readiness and take action only when data is up to date.
  • Streamline workflows by accessing real-time status data directly in the UI or via API.

Status Overview:

Each BP in a monitor is now assigned one of four statuses:

  • Ready – The BP has up-to-date results and is ready for download.
  • In Progress – The BP is currently undergoing processing or reprocessing.
  • Retry – The BP requires processing has failed and needs to be reprocessed.
  • Blocked – The BP cannot be processed due to an issue that needs to be resolved.

Where to See It:

  • Configuration Page: Get an overview of how many BPs are in each status category across your monitor.
  • Data Review (Single Mode): Check the individual status of a selected BP during manual review.
  • API Access: Status information is also available programmatically via our API responses.

This feature aims to improve data accuracy, transparency, and efficiency when working with monitored BPs.

2025-06-26: Augmented Business Partner Report & Legal Entity Report v3

We’re excited to announce two enhancements to our reporting suite: the Augmented Business Partner Report and an updated Legal Entity Report.

Augmented Business Partner Report

This new report delivers the full results of augmentation monitoring for your business partners. You’ll see every proposed value alongside its original “before” data, plus all Update Assessment details—action taken (added, modified, deleted), classification, data provenance, similarity scores, and modification timestamp. Just like the existing Update Report, you can filter by summary classification and creation date to zero in on exactly what matters.

Legal Entity Report (v3)

The revamped Legal Entity Report leverages our latest curation logic to surface official register data—legal status, VAT registration, and any local attributes—alongside the same augmentation monitoring insights (action, classification, provenance, scores, and modification date). Both the new and legacy versions remain available, giving you flexibility to evaluate the improvements and switch over at your own pace.

2025-06-25: New data source integrated: Swedish Companies Registration Office (SE.BR)

Summary

We are pleased to announce the integration of a new data source: SE.BR (data source), powered by the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) — the official authority responsible for registering businesses and managing company data in Sweden.

Details

The dataset contains comprehensive information about legal entities registered in Sweden, including:

  • Organization identifier (SE_ORG_ID)
  • Company name
  • Legal form
  • Registered address
  • Status of the company

This dataset currently contains 2.9 million records and is available to all CDQ customers.
To access this data in CDQ services (e.g., Business Partner Lookup or Curation API), please activate the data source SE.BR in Global Settings under the Reference Data Source Management section.

2025-06-24: Small update on Data Quality Rules

In our recent data quality rules update we have changed the status of sixteen Identifier qualification rules from HYPERCARE to RELEASED. Moreover, we have slightly improved the regular expression for checking the format of EORI number. The list of the updated rules is the following:

The changes will be effective by tomorrow (today in the evening).

2025-06-04: Improved matching with transliteration support in Business Partner Lookup

Overview

We have enhanced the Business Partner Lookup service by introducing support for transliteration-based matching. This new feature improves accuracy when matching business partner names, cities, or streets written in different alphabets — such as Latin and Cyrillic — by applying a transliteration step before similarity scoring is calculated.

Details

When the feature toggle ENABLE_TRANSLITERATION_MATCHING is enabled, the lookup service will:

  • Automatically detect if the input and reference data use different alphabets.
  • Apply transliteration to normalize both values into a common character set.
  • Calculate the matching score based on the transliterated (normalized) form.

Example Use Case

  • Input name: STRIMON SPA AD (Latin alphabet)
  • Reference name: СТРИМОН СПА - АД (Cyrillic alphabet)

→ Now correctly matched with a high score thanks to transliteration.

Availability

This feature is available behind a feature toggle (ENABLE_TRANSLITERATION_MATCHING) and can be activated upon request.

2025-05-30: New Augmentation Monitoring View in Data Clinic App

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new Augmentation Monitoring view in the Data Clinic APP. Built on the foundation of the Business Partner Update Browser, it preserves nearly every element you know and love while giving you full visibility into how each record was enriched.

With this view, you can:

  • Inspect augmentation results side-by-side with the original “before” values from your data mirror
  • Leverage the Update Assessment panel to trace data provenance and see exactly which rules were applied
  • Identify the action taken on each field (added, modified, or deleted)
  • Review how records were classified under our ruleset
  • Compare similarity scores for addresses and names

To get started, simply create one or more augmentation monitors and configure your curation settings to match your needs.

2025-05-28: Expanded coverage of US.SEC data source in Business Partner Lookup

Summary

We have significantly improved our integration with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (US.SEC (data source)) data source. As a result, CDQ’s Business Partner Lookup service now provides access to over 900,000 company records collected from the EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval) system.

Details

Previously, only a fraction of available filings was accessible. With this enhancement, our customers can now search and retrieve comprehensive business partner data for virtually all companies registered in the EDGAR database. This includes detailed information on U.S.-based legal entities such as corporations, limited liability companies, and other registered businesses.

Each record includes detailed attributes such as:

  • Company name and historical names
  • Registered addresses (business and mailing)
  • CIK (Central Index Key) and EIN (Employer Identification Number) identifiers
  • Legal form
  • SIC code and industry description
  • Phone number and website

The data is updated daily, ensuring high data freshness and reliability. This improvement boosts the value of the US.SEC source for due diligence, enrichment, and compliance use cases.

2025-05-26: Management of Fraud Alert Notifications in Cloud Apps

Launch of a New Component for Handling Fraudulent Email Notifications

Summary

We are excited to announce the introduction of a new component designed to enhance the management of fraud email notifications within Cloud Apps.

Once you have created a configuration, you can add recipients to your fraud alert distribution list, ensuring that the right people are notified promptly.

We believe this new feature will significantly improve your ability to manage fraud alerts and enhance your overall experience with Cloud Apps.

2025-05-22: Fetch Configuration section added to Request Settings in First Time Right application

Summary

We have extended the Request Settings section in the First Time Right application with a new Fetch Configuration tab, alongside the existing Lookup Configuration and Curation Configuration.

Details

This update supports the growing use of the Lookup & Fetch feature, which enables businesses to search for potential matches and then retrieve detailed, verified information about business partners from multiple connected data sources.
The Lookup phase leverages CDQ’s advanced Search & Matching Engine, using techniques such as fuzzy search to identify likely matches across datasets - even in the presence of data inconsistencies. The Fetch phase builds on this by retrieving complete and enriched records for the selected matches.

The new Fetch Configuration section allows users to:

  • Enable or disable specific Fetch features (Features On / Features Off),
  • Define a Screening Matching Threshold to control which records are eligible for Fetch,
  • Select a predefined Augmentation Configuration, which includes consistent settings across Lookup, Curation, and Fetch.

This enhancement gives users greater control and flexibility when designing their data request workflows, ensuring high-quality, context-specific data enrichment.

2025-04-14: Business Partner Status Available in the Tax Guard Identifier Qualification Results

Business Partner status is now provided together with identifier qualification results in Tax Guard. An additional response object called businessPartnerStatus indicates the Business Partner status: type, value and reference to the Wiki. Moreover, the value is present in the First Time Right application (as a result of the Qualify button execution) in case the status is different than UNKNOWN or ACTIVE. Many data sources (like VIES, AT.FON or BZST) do not provide the status of a Business Partner. Thus, in such cases we return UNKNOWN value. All the possible status values can be found here: https://meta.cdq.com/Business_partner/status/type.

2025-03-25: Customizable Expiration Dates for Data Clinic Reports

We're excited to announce a new feature that empowers you to set expiration dates for your data clinic reports. When generating a report, you can now select how long it will remain available from the following options:

  • 1 month
  • 3 months (default)
  • 6 months
  • 1 year

The chosen expiration date is clearly displayed in the reports table. Once a report reaches its expiration date, the associated files are automatically removed, making them inaccessible. We recommend downloading any important reports soon after they’re created, as the expiration date cannot be changed.

Previously, reports were manually deleted every 3 months. This new feature streamlines the process, offering you greater flexibility and control over your data management. ... further results
