We are introducing a new data source for France: FR.SIRENE, which provides company information directly from the official Insee SIRENE API. The content available through FR.SIRENE is identical to the data already offered via FR.RC, but instead of relying on monthly file imports, it leverages a real-time API connection.

In contrast to FR.RC, which can be used in update monitoring and for generating augmented records, FR.SIRENE is limited to single lookup requests (e.g., in the First Time Right application).
Moreover, FR.SIRENE supports searches only by SIRET identifier.

To use FR.SIRENE, customers need to provide their own API Key in the Reference Data Source Management. The API Key can be generated on the Insee website.

This integration gives customers the flexibility to choose between file-based imports (FR.RC) and real-time lookups (FR.SIRENE), depending on their use case.
