Update on Data Quality Rules

In our latest data quality rules update we have introduced new rules, modified old ones and we improved regular expressions affecting different kinds of rules. The list of the changes is the following:

• The list of newly introduced rules is the following (rules are in the HYPERCARE status):
  • Deprecated post code format identified (El Salvador) with the INFO criticality
  • Invalid checksum of EU VAT ID AT (Austria) with the ERROR criticality
  • Invalid checksum of Fiscal code (Italy) with the ERROR criticality
  • Identifier format invalid (VAT number (Italy)) with the ERROR criticality
  • Identifier checkdigit invalid (VAT number (Italy)) with the ERROR criticality
  • Identifier format invalid (REA number (Italy)) with the ERROR criticality
  • Identifier format inaccurate (VAT registration number (Israel)) with the INFO criticality

• We have updated the following regular expressions for checking:
  • Post code in El Salvador [1] which affects the following rule: Post code format invalid (El Salvador)
  • Post code in Isle of Man [2] which affects the following rule: Post code format invalid (Isle of Man)
  • Identifier format in Israel [3] which affects the following rule: Identifier format invalid (VAT registration number (Israel))

• We have changed dummy post code rules to be more tolerant:
  • Dummy post code detected (TN)
  • Dummy post code detected (IR)

With all the mentioned changes we have significantly improved Data Quality Rules in order to provide better results with higher accuracy and quality. All changes are already available.
