XC is not an officially assigned ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code. It belongs to the range XA to XZ, which ISO reserves for user-assigned codes.

In CDQ data, XC is used to represent the Eastern Caribbean Region. It therefore identifies a regional grouping rather than a single country. Individual countries within the Eastern Caribbean continue to use their regular ISO 3166-1 country codes, for example AG (Antigua and Barbuda)DM (Dominica), or LC (Saint Lucia).

When processing XC, it should therefore be treaed as a "CDQ-specific regional code based on the ISO user-assigned range", not as an officially assigned ISO country code.
