| Description Informal and comprehensive human-readable definition of a concept. | International branches are units that could be located in the same or in different countries than headquarter.
For branches located in a different country, only one LEI code can be issued for all branches. This means it is advisable to decide for which branch office in that country the LEI application should be submitted. It is not possible to get LEI for branches in the same country as the Headquarter. |
