Name Name of a concept, e.g. a data model concept. In contrast to terms, the name does not depend on a given context, e.g. a country-specific language. International Branch Relation
Monolingual name Language-specific name of a data model concept or concept value.
Description Informal and comprehensive human-readable definition of a concept. International branches are units located in different countries than the headquarter.

A branch is a secondary location of its headquarters. It has no legal responsibility for its debts, even though bills may be paid from the branch location. It will have the same legal business name as its headquarters, although branches frequently operate under a different trade style than the headquarters establishment. A branch may be located at the same address as the headquarters if it has a unique trade style. D&B provides a unique DUNS Number for each branch unit.

For branches located in a different country, only one LEI can be issued for all branches. This means it is advisable to decide for which branch office in that country the LEI application should be submitted. It is not possible to get LEI for branches in the same country as the Headquarter.

D&B provides DUNS for all branches (not matters wheater are they domestic or international).

Branches can be a child of Direct Legal entity, Global Ultimate Legal entity, and Domestic Ultimate legal entity. Even child of mentioned units can be a parent of the branch. Parent of the branch/es is called as headqurter.
