The quality of banking data is an important driver for mitigating financial risks and reducing process costs, e.g. for late payments and required corrections due to wrong bank data. Data quality checks for banking data comprise structural aspects of the domestic and international bank account data as well as checks for the actual existence of the maintained bank information (e.g. if a BIC is really existing)
